Cap d'Antibes, mistral

Aubusson tapestry woven by the Four workshop.
With its ribbon, n°EA2/2.
After a work by the artist from 1888, preserved at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.

The Four manufactory reproduces in tapestry, hand-woven, some of the great works of painting: thus Klee, Modigliani, Macke or, here, Monet have been transcribed into wool, reproducing the nuances of materials and touches of the artists.
