Of Limousin origin (and daughter of the master glassmaker François Chigot), Delphine Bureau-Chigot devoted a significant part of her creative energy (she was also a painter and pastelist) to creating tapestry cartoons (over a hundred) essentially woven by the Picaud workshop, often with oneiric inspiration, where animals (notably birds) can take a significant part.
