Best known for his compositions linked to the theme of the circus (his favorite theme, all techniques combined: a sculpted acrobat figure adorns the public space in Aubusson), Cinquin, an Aubusson native by adoption, and professor until its closure at the National School of Decorative Arts in Aubusson, was (he died in 2019) one of the last milestones to have rubbed shoulders with the protagonists of the Renaissance of Tapestry.
