Best known for his compositions related to the theme of the circus (his favorite theme, across all techniques: a sculpted acrobat figure adorns the public space in Aubusson), Cinquin, an adopted Aubusson resident and professor until its closure at the National School of Decorative Art in Aubusson, was (he died in 2019) one of the last figures to have been close to the protagonists of the Renaissance of Tapestry.
