Primarily an engraver, Davo reproduces his research on the medium in tapestry, using oxidations of metals deposited on the copper plate. The resulting effects are transposed here through the reliefs made possible by weaving.
The tapestry is reproduced in the binder "Aubusson Tapestry" published by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Guéret in the early 1980s to illustrate the know-how of the Aubusson workshops.
