Essentially an engraver, Davo reproduces his research on the medium in tapestry, based on oxidations linked to metals deposited on the copper plate. The effects obtained are transposed here thanks to the reliefs that weaving allows.
The tapestry is reproduced in the 'Aubusson Tapestry' folder published by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Guéret in the early 80s to illustrate the know-how of the Aubusson workshops.
