With its label.
Circa 1960.
A versatile artist (poet, lyricist, painter, and even antique dealer,…) Saint-Martin, Lurçat's assistant in the early 50s, designs his own cartoons from 1956, woven by the Braquenié house, in the oneiric universe, both stylized and theatricalized: here, order and rigor (still life, the wrought iron balustrade…) contrast with the disorderly, disturbing profusion of the branches on the side.
