Michel Degand, a multifaceted artist (painter, sculptor, illustrator,…), has, over more than 50 years of creation, designed around a hundred tapestry cartoons, with a constantly renewed inspiration, sometimes dreamlike or "cosmic" (like Wogensky), at other times "technological" (like Millecamps), often lyrical, with a marked interest in the material, and most of them woven at Pinton, in Felletin.

In this respect, our cartoon is a synthesis of these different modes of expression; we can add to it a work on geometry, matter and its chromatic effects, the hollows and reliefs, the void in relation to the size of the format….
