It was perhaps her proximity to Pierre Vago, an architect whose wife she was, that led Nicole Cormier to take an interest in mural art (cf. “Soleil levant” at Villeneuve d'Ascq University); in the 1970s, she created some hangings made of felt and sewn cotton pieces, and had some cartoons woven by Pierre Daquin, among others.
