Horses in the Camargue
Aubusson tapestry woven by the Atelier Pinton.
N°1/6.
Circa 1980.
Although he sometimes devoted himself to large-scale mural decoration (notably by designing sets for the Opéra de Paris), Brayer, by contrast, showed relatively little interest in tapestry: his works in this field drew on earlier paintings predating the typical Provençal subjects.
