Slow approach

Aubusson tapestry woven by the Braquenié workshop.

From a long artistic career, begun in the 50s (and which was to turn, late, especially to sculpture), it is necessary to retain with Julien, from 1959, about twenty cartoons, essentially woven by the Braquenié manufacture, notably 'the foreign trade', a spectacular public commission of 12 m². His style is often made of drawn female figures (drawn in black), sober in colors and motifs, of which our cartoon is exemplary.
