« La huppe rouge »
Aubusson tapestry woven by the Picaud workshop.

Circa 1970.
Originating in Limoges (and daughter of the stained-glass master François Chigot), Delphine Bureau-Chigot devoted an important part of her creative flair (she was also a painter and pastellist) to the production of tapestry Cartoons (more than one hundred), woven primarily by the Picaud workshop, often imbued with a dreamlike inspiration, in which the animals (birds in particular) can play a significant role.
