Elie Grekoff went on to produce more than 300 cartons: his aesthetic and his subjects (apart from his focus on the human figure) are similar to those of Lurçat, whilst his colour palette is highly personal, as seen here, with a slate-blue background (a rarity) against which owls stand out in stark contrast in red.
