Essentially an engraver, Davo reproduces in tapestry his research on the medium, based on oxidations linked to metals deposited on the copper plate. The effects achieved are transposed here through the reliefs made possible by weaving.
The tapestry is reproduced in the binder « Tapisserie d’Aubusson » published by the Chambre de commerce et d’Industrie de Guéret in the early 1980s to illustrate the know-how of the Aubusson workshops.
