Former student of the ENAD of Aubusson, Lartigaud designed his first Cartoon in 1968. Since then, he created hundreds—mostly Woven by the Four Manufactory. If his Cartoons are most often abstract, there is also a bucolic side, which Fumeron would not have disowned in his production.
