fragment
Aubusson tapestry woven by the Four workshop.
With its bolduc, n°EA1/2.
Circa 1990.
Kozo Inoué settled in Paris in 1960 and then turned primarily to screen printing. It was woven by the Four manufactory from 1984.
In his works, all of "graces" unfold, as if suspended—petals, leaves, or butterflies; simple motifs (or sometimes repeated) on a contrasting background in graduated shades.
